What is an Employee Assistance Program?

An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a voluntary, confidential, and free program that provides employees and their families with assistance in resolving personal problems. EAP services are available to employees and their dependents who are 18 years of age or older. EAP services are not available to the general public.
